Item 8 - Discussion regarding a request for support from the Clay County Board of County Commissioners for the submittal of a Joint Adult Drug Court grant application which is to be electronically submitted (by June 1, 2015) to the Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The total Federal dollars being requested is $232,720.00 which will be subject to a Non-Federal match of $77,573.00. The program term is anticipated to begin September 30, 2015 and end September 29, 2016. This request for support is being sought after by the Director of Treatment Courts - Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Funding Source: Federal Grant if awarded and drug court innovation funds
